The Department of Applied Mechanics Engineering is one of the important & key departments in G.P.Mumbai. This department is truly inter-disciplinary in its core with diverse faculty expertise as it caters to the needs of various Mechanics & Structures related subjects in Civil, Mechanical and Rubber Technology Diploma programmes in the institute. The subjects covered are Engineering Mechanics, Basics of Mechanical Engineering (RT), Strength of Materials, Mechanics of Structure, Design of RCC and Steel Structures, Soil Mechanics & Concrete Technology.
The department has well educated and experienced faculty members possessing Post Graduate Level qualifications, who are quite interested in pursuing Research work in the Diverse and expansive field of Applied Mechanics.
