The main objective of this project is to promote IT literacy for education and improve the employment potential of learners in India, using FOSS (Free and Open Source Software). The audio of Spoken Tutorials courses is available in all 22 official languages of India, with the video always in English.
Based on the philosophy of new education policy some programs in our institute have offered MOOC / Spoken Tutorial courses. For these courses on self-learning mode students are observing and learning videos prepared by IIT Mumbai. Students have been provided login by IIT Mumbai, accordingly they have to prepare and appear for the scheduled exam. After successful result students will be awarded certificate. IIT Mumbai is facilitating the platform for the preparation of various MOOC / Spoken Tutorial courses. Institute is renewing subscription every year to use the platform for the preparation.
