Department has well qualified faculty &amp; well equipped laboratories as per the requirement of AICTE and MSBTE The faculty is engaged in improving the quality of education as well as enhancing the skills in the students to suit the requirements of present construction industry. The teaching &amp; learning is carried out with modern teaching aids, and technical visits. Also various lectures are arranged frequently by experts from industry. Overall development of students is made sure through encouraging students to participate in various State Level Competitions\/Seminars &amp; Sports activities.<br \/>\nDepartment is engaged in Third Party Audit (TPA) of Civil Works carried out for various Municipal councils\/Corporations Department also extends facility of Testing of Construction Materials required for various civil works to many Government and private organizations Generates ample revenue through TPA Inplant training in the last semester of 40 credits for enhancing the employability and entrepreneurship skills of students After completion of this diploma program, students shall have the competencies in supervisory skills, drafting skills, estimation and costing, tendering, surveying and many more and they may be recruited as site Engineers, Junior Engineers, Trainee Engineers in construction industry specially and in other various organizations such as Municipal Corporation, MAHAGENCO, Irrigation department, PWD, NTPC, L&amp;T, Railways, Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran, MCGM, Mhada, Metro etc.<\/p>\n<p>Govt. of Maharashtra provides and gives preference to the diploma holders of Civil Engineering an opportunity to undertake a contract up to an amount of Rs. 15 Lacs setting aside Security Deposit and Earnest money.<\/p>\n<\/div><div id=\"tab_tab_set1_1\"><h5>Vision<\/h5>\n<p>To provide quality education in Civil Engineering and prepare national proactive technician in contribution towards social uplifting and national building<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5>Mission<\/h5>\n<p>To prepare disciplined, compassionate and virtuous technician to make significant contribution to the economic development of the state and the country on a whole.<\/p>\n<\/div><div id=\"tab_tab_set1_79\"><h5>Programme Outcomes (POs)<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>PO1: Basic and Discipline specific knowledge: Apply knowledge of basicmathematics, science and engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization to solve the  Engineering problems.<\/li>\n<li>PO2: Problem analysis: Identify and analyse well-defined Engineeringproblems using codified standard methods.<\/li>\n<li>PO3: Design\/ development of solutions: Design solutions for well-defined technical problemsand assist with the design of systems components or processes to meet specified needs.<\/li>\n<li>PO4: Engineering Tools, Experimentation and Testing: Apply modern engineering tools and appropriate technique to conduct standard tests and measurements.<\/li>\n<li>PO5:Engineering practices for society, sustainability and environment: Apply appropriate technology in context of society, sustainability, environment and ethical practices.<\/li>\n<li>PO6:Project Management: Use engineering management principles individually, as a team member or a leader to manage projects and effectively communicate about well-defined engineering activities.<\/li>\n<li>PO7:Life-long learning: Ability to analyze individual needs and engage in updating in the context of technological changes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Programme Specific Outcomes (PSOs)<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>PSO 1.
